Phoenix Model Flying Club's

Phoenix Model Flying Club flies from the old MOD Rifle Range at Pakefield, just South of Lowestoft.

We can fly 7 days a week (weather permitting) and have times set aside for training.

The entrance is on the main A12 halfway between the "McDonalds (Drive Through)" roundabout and "Morrison's Supermarket" roundabout.

From The North (via Norwich)
Follow the A47 east towards Gt Yarmouth
On reaching Gt Yarmouth (Vauxhall roundabout) bear right (south) on the A12 Lowestoft (signposted Lowestoft, Ipswich)
Follow Gt Yarmouth directions below.

From The North (via Gt Yarmouth)
Follow the A12 south towards Lowestoft / Ipswich
On reaching Lowestoft stay on the A12 towards Ipswich
When exiting Lowestoft on the A12, you will encounter a large roundabout with a "MacDonald's-Drive-Through" and "Robinsons VW-Audi Garage" on it, carry on on the A12 (Ipswich) and we are 200yds on the left (opposite Focus DIY)

From The South (via Ipswich)
Follow the A12 north towards Lowestoft
As you near Kessingland (3 miles south of Lowestoft) you will start encountering roundabouts, stay on the main A12
We are 200yds on the right after the 3rd roundabout (opposite the rear of Focus DIY)

From The West (via Diss)
Follow the A143 towards Beccles
When The A143 ends (roundabout) turn right (east) on the A146 towards Lowestoft
After 6.9 miles bear right (Dutchman Pub) onto the A1117 towards Ipswich
After 1.9 miles bear right onto the A12 (Ipswich), We are 200yds on the left (opposite the rear of Focus DIY)
